Brand ambassadors offer countless benefits to both businesses, consumers and the ambassadors themselves. As a way of providing positive word of mouth, expanding company-consumer relationships and increasing brand approachability, brand ambassadors are an absolute necessity in the world of social media. This week we’re taking a moment to talk to one of Gymnastics Direct’s newest ambassadors, Josette, to find out why being an ambassador is so important for overall brand culture. Social media allows ambassadors to have quick contact with the brands they represent, to promote brands to their followers and make their own network amongst other ambassadors. Let’s take a look at how Josie is finding being a brand ambassador.
- How long have you been a Gymnastics Direct brand ambassador?
A month and a half.
- What is your favourite thing about being a brand ambassador?
I get to represent a brand/company that I truly benefit from and whose products I love and that work. I love being part of a smaller community of ambassadors in which we are all able to support each other’s accounts and success.
- Why do you think it’s important for brands to have ambassadors?
It’s important for brands to have ambassadors because when other customers think of buying a product they have a second opinion and lots of knowledge provided for them by brand ambassadors. Having ambassadors makes a brand seem more fun and inviting.
