How you start your morning determines the tone for the rest of your day. Here are some 5 healthy morning habits to start your day on a positive note.

 

Wake up same time everyday

Getting enough quality sleep is essential to starting your mornings off right. Choosing the same time to wake up every day helps your body establish a rhythm and can also help you to have a better sleep at night.

 

Drink a full glass of water

Drinking a full glass of water as soon as you wake up is a quick way to rehydrate your body. You can also add a slice of lemon to lightly infuse the flavour!

Eat a healthy breakfast

Make yourself a healthy breakfast. The most important meal of the day! By taking the time to cook a meal with protein, good fats, and complex carbohydrates, you’re giving yourself a great source of energy needed to start your day!

Set goals and intentions for the day.

Think about the goals you want to achieve for the day by writing a to-do list. By doing this, you have more control over your day and get the most important things done.

Learning how to take care of your body can spread positivity in your mind! Whether it be doing your stretching routine, practising yoga or pilates, going to the gym, swim, or just going for a walk, it’s essential to take the time to move your body and have a daily routine of exercise.
