If anyone’s going to land one of the hardest moves in the history of gymnastics and be the first woman ever to do so, there’s no denying it’s going to be Simone Biles. Showcasing a triple double in her floor routine at the 2019 US Gymnastics Championships in Kansas City this weekend, Biles finished the competition with her sixth all-around title.
The only other woman to win six US all-around gold medals is Clara Schroth-Lomady between 1945 and 1952.
On the same weekend as her triple double debut, Biles became the first person in history to perform a double-double dismount on beam. Can this girl do anything wrong?
